Little Panoche Road is located along the West Side of the Central San Joaquin Valley. The road travels east west and takes travelers from the Central Valley towards the Central Coast.
The recent drought has affected much of the foot hill areas both to the East and West of the Valley.
This series of photographs depicts the old road (upper 2 photos and the new road (lower right photo).
The primative earth works from the construction of the old road is plainly visible.
The new road is fenced and has a bumpy but hard surface.
The lower left photo is the junction of the new road and the now abandoned old road.
